However, when she takes off her mask, it’s revealed to be Tamara Blake, Black Cat’s ex-girlfriend and former training partner, who wants revenge for the death of Black Fox.
Felicia Hardy is taking on the Iron Cat in a new series from Marvel Comics. The armored character originally appeared during her self-titled series as Black Cat used Tony Stark’s technology to build a remote set of armor she could control. When Iron Cat knocks her down, she removes her mask, and her secret identity is revealed to be Tamara Blake, Felica Hardy’s former friend, and ex-girlfriend who also trained under the Black Fox.
Yes, Black Cat is responsible for the death of Black Fox, but she killed him only after finding out her former mentor betrayed her. Tamara Blake likely doesn’t know the truth but is desperate to gain avenge him. Suiting up as Iron Cat and using the armor that Felicia Hardy created is undoubtedly one way to get her attention.
